AquaLOCK® Portal: Advanced Flood Protection for Properties and Buildings

The AquaLOCK® portal offers a wide range of applications in both commercial and industrial sectors. For instance, in situations where doors cannot be replaced, a portal that opens outward effectively secures building access against heavy rainfall and flooding. When the risk of flooding is not present, the portal can be easily rotated 180° outward, resting flush against the building wall. Unlike mobile barriers, the key advantage of the AquaLOCK® portal is its constant readiness for deployment, eliminating the need for transportation and setup when flood protection is required.

With a maximum width of up to 5,200 mm, AquaLOCK® portals are also suitable for securing truck access points.
Customized solutions — for example, for applications in biogas plants — are also available.

In contrast, the AquaLOCK® Quickwall, made from a single piece, is ready for use with just a few simple steps.

With optional center and corner posts, the AquaLOCK® Quickwall can also be used flexibly outside building openings, for example, to protect machines from extinguishing water or to prevent environmentally harmful substances such as operating fluids or lubricants from contaminating the water in case of fire.

The AquaLOCK® Flap: Efficient Protection for Smaller Openings

In many industrial and commercial buildings, as well as in public buildings such as swimming pools, there are smaller service and maintenance openings that are only rarely used — for example, for annual inspections or cleaning of the space behind them. The AquaLOCK® hatch reliably protects such openings up to a size of 1,300 x 1,300 mm against water ingress.

Our hatches are available with or without hinges and can be operated easily and safely thanks to the screw levers. For use in highly corrosive environments, such as areas exposed to chlorine or saltwater, we recommend the stainless steel version.

Les grandes portes de hangar sont généralement des portes enroulables ou sectionnelles, car ce sont les portes les mieux adaptées aux ouvertures quotidiennes fréquentes. Afin de garantir une protection efficace contre les inondations pour ces grandes ouvertures, nous avons conçu une version maxi de notre porte sectionnelle AquaLOCK®.

Comme pour notre porte sectionnelle destinée à un usage privé, la première lame de la version professionnelle est renforcée et la porte est équipée de notre système de sécurité testé avec succès. Cette conception permet d’atteindre une hauteur de protection de 700 à 800 mm, pour une largeur pouvant aller jusqu’à 8 000 mm.

Cependant, cette version n’est pas encore disponible, car des tests supplémentaires sont nécessaires. La date de lancement définitive de la version commerciale de notre porte sectionnelle AquaLOCK® n’a pas encore été fixée.
